Food Columnist: ‘Spam At McDonalds? They’re McNuts!’
HAMDEN, Conn. (Wireless Flash) – McDonalds is now testing out a Spam- based “McMeal” in Hawaii, but one syndicated food columnist is saying the company is “McNuts” for even trying. Bonnie Tandy Leblang says McDonald’s new “McSpam” dish – Spam blended with scrambled eggs and rice – will never make it to the mainland because it “smells like dogfood” and tastes worse. She says McSpam is the worst idea McDonalds has ever come up with and thinks the product will be doomed as soon as people see the “disgusting pink jelly” on their plate.
