Farrelly Brothers Don’t Want To ‘Nyuck’ Up Stooge Remake

GLENDALE, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – The Farrelly Brothers of There’s Something About Mary fame claim there’s something about the Three Stooges – and they don’t want to “nyuck” it up. Peter and Bobby Farrelly are so afraid of offending hardcore Stooge fans with their new Three Stooges movie they are holding a cyberchat tomorrow (May 22) at warnerbros.com to ask fans what they want to see in the new film. The Farrellys say it’s hard trying to keep what made the Stooges great while creating a new, fresh storyline for the 21st century. Although the new Stooges won’t be exactly like the old films, executive producer Earl Benjamin promises there will still be finger gouges, eyepokes, and plenty of “nyuck nyuck.” The cyberchat begins at 8 p.m. EDT, and, if all goes well, the new Three Stooges film will be released next summer.
