‘We Make Music To Kill People To,’ Says WASP Singer

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – You’ve heard of music so good it’s to die for, well, now 1980s metalheads WASP say they’re making music “to kill to.” Singer Blackie Lawless says he was raging mad over Sept. 11, but after re- reading mail from Gulf War soldiers who blasted his music while going into battle, he decided to do a 2002 version. Lawless says his band’s latest record, Dying for the World, is “a collection of songs to go kill people with,” designed to aid the U.S. troops in “offing” the al Qaeda. He says he hopes his music, which features lyrics like My God will kill your God, will rid the world of Osama bin Laden, who he calls an “Antichrist wannabe.” The new album hits stores June 11.
