LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Star Wars fans everywhere are praising George Lucas for limiting Jar Jar Binks’ scenes in Episode II, but one Star Wars fan is stepping up to defend the hated Gungan. John Sprengelmeyer – who calls himself “Jar Jar’s Johnnie Cochran” – says the reason movie-goers hate Jar Jar is because they don’t understand their “erotic feelings” for him. Sprengelmeyer, co-creator of the comic strip Captain RibMan, says folks have hidden, unresolved sexual feelings for sexy Jar Jar – which wasn’t helped any by Star Wars’ franchising suggestive gummy Jar Jar Binks candy tongues. But Jar Jar’s biggest fan thinks the character’s dangerous sexuality is great, second only to his “...brilliant animation, memorable voice and clever personality that merges Bob Marley and Carrot Top.”
