How John Davidson Popularized Bungee Jumping

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Here’s something that’s really incredible: entertainer John Davidson helped popularize bungee jumping. Davidson co-hosted the oddball early 1980s documentary series That’s Incredible, which he says deserves a place in history for introducing bungee jumping to the world. He’s getting a chance to relive his glory by reuniting with his That’s Incredible co-hosts Cathy Lee Crosby and Fran Tarkenton for a reunion special airing May 21 on ABC. Davidson says the time with his former co-hosts reminded him of just how fun it was making the program – which he thinks helped pioneer the reality show phenomenon. Although That’s Incredible has been imitated, Davidson insists the stunts featured on the show can never be duplicated because “...the insurance is so high.”
