Cosby Kid: ‘People Can’t Get Over the Fact I Was Rudy’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played Rudy on The Cosby Show, has been out of the limelight for 10 years, but now she says she wants back in. Pulliam’s been studying sociology at Spellman College in Atlanta in hopes of becoming “...a director that uses sociology to breathe life into screenwriters’ words.” But, according to Pulliam, getting her degree was difficult because her classmates couldn’t get over the fact that she was Rudy Huxtable, and pestered her about it until the day she graduated. Pulliam, who stars in the UPN TV movie What About Your Friends: Weekend Getaway May 31, says she didn’t mind all the attention, though, since she understood that so many people grew up with her.
