Acupuncturist: ‘The Rock’s Eyebrow Is His Secret Weapon’

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – Scorpion King star The Rock is known for dramatically cocking his eyebrow for photos, but one acupuncturist is saying it’s not just a wrestling gimmick – it’s his source of power. L.A. based acupuncturist/ wrestling buff Majid Ali says The Rock’s eyebrow raising hits a facial pressure point called “the bladder meridian.” It sounds cockeyed but Ali claims the eyebrow arching stimulates the adrenal glands and gives the wrestler a massive surge of adrenaline. Amazingly, Ali says this is why The Rock can still do things like “throw guys out of the ring and do backflips onto people” even though he turns the big 3-0 this Thursday (May 2).
