NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – The Fox show COPS is getting naked in honor of its 500th episode. Immediately following the landmark episode running April 27, Fox will air Naked COPS: Special Edition, which features busts of nude convicts.

LONDON – NME magazine has released its top-50 list of bands that have been the most influential to the magazine’s staff. But the group that took the number one spot might surprise you. Coming out on top was the Smiths, who were followed by the Beatles, the Stone Roses and David Bowie.

LOS ANGELES – Phyllis Diller has called it quits on a five-decade career as a stand-up comic. Diller made the announcement recently on stage during a performance at California State University, Northridge. Although Diller’s ending her live routine, she’ll still continue to paint and write.
