Gwen Stefani Is Don Ho’s Dream Duet

HONOLULU (Wireless Flash) – Hawaiian legend Don Ho is looking for duet partners and there’s no doubt who his dream singer is: Gwen Stefani. Ho is getting ready to record his first album in 20 years and wants to include a duet with the No Doubt singer. The 71-year-old Ho wants the entire recording to be duets and is also planning to sing with Jimmy Buffett, Willie Nelson, Bruce Willis and, of course, his daughter, teen singer Hoku. But Ho isn’t stopping there. He just released his own version of Peter Gabriel’s “Shock The Monkey” that is becoming an underground hit – even though he hasn’t heard the final remix yet. Although Ho is getting ready to celebrate his 40th anniversary in show business, he says his formula for success is simple: “I hire young fellas, learn from them and doodle when I entertain.”
