Rapper Nelly Wants to Duet With Nelly Furtado
ST. LOUIS (Wireless Flash) – There might be an “all-Nelly” record soon if rapper Nelly has his way and hooks up with Nelly Furtado. According to the rapper’s St. Lunatics bandmate Ali, Nelly thinks Furtado is “hot and wants to hook up a track with her.” Ali says Mr. Nelly and Miss Nelly have been discussing a duet and the rapper even wrote a song that Ali says contains lyrics like, What’s it like to be Nelly?/ boom boom/ What’s it like to be Nelly? However, Ali, who’s debut solo record Heavy Starch drops April 30, says nothing’s been recorded yet since “...collaboratin’ be hard to hook up.”
