SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) – A San Diego man has created the world’s first New Year’s Eve “hangover workout”. Fitness trainer Bernie Miller says a hangover is no excuse for not exercising and there are plenty of ways to work out the morning after a booze binge. For instance, he says tightening the ab muscles when you’re tossing your cookies in the toilet is a great way to strengthen them. Also, grabbing the back of the potty bowl – not the rim – when you’re barfing is a great lateral workout that will open your esophagus and help you clear your guts. Miller also suggests you replenish your fluids by chugging water out of gallon bottles because lifting the bottles mimics the sensation of hammer curls. Finally, if you get the trots after a binge, he recommends you squat over the toilet bowl, which works your hamstrings, glutes and inner thighs.
