JANITOR ACCUSES BARBARA WALTERS OF STEALING HIS ‘VIEW’

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Wireless Flash) – A janitor in Charlotte, North Carolina, is accusing Barbara Walters of ripping off his idea for the show, The View. 39-year-old John Ohayon claims back in 1996 he came up with an idea for a talk show where four women discuss health and fashion. He sent the idea to Walters but says “...her office basically dogged me.” However, a few months later, The View made its debut and, according to Ohayon, is almost identical to his original concept. Ohayon can’t afford a lawyer, so he hopes to convict Walters in the court of public opinion with something called “Turn Off Barbara Walters Day.” He’s asking couch potatoes not to view The View on December 28 and hopes the possible ratings drop will send a message to Walters that Americans won’t tolerate the “...big and powerful taking advantage of average, hard-working citizens.”
