SHOULD CHARLES BRONSON BOOZE IT UP?

BALTIMORE, Md. (Wireless Flash) – Charles Bronson may be able to battle his Alzheimer’s disease by hitting the bottle. It has just been announced the 81-year-old Death Wish star suffers from the disease but, according to the latest issue of Alcoholism: Clinical And Experimental Research, a bottle of wine a day can keep dementia at bay in elderly folks. In fact, only 19 percent of oldsters who drank daily suffered cognitive derangement, compared to 29 percent of non-drinkers. However, the Rome-based researchers say women only need to throw back half a bottle of the sauce each day to enjoy alcohol’s senility-slowing effects. No one knows if 81-year-old Bronson plans to treat his Alzheimer’s with booze, but doctors recommend he talk with his doctor first before giving it a shot – or two.
