GREENVILLE, N.C. (Wireless Flash) – A husband-and-wife inventing team is cushioning the humiliation of farting in public with a portable gas-absorbing cushion. The so-called GasBGon is a polyurethane seat cushion that contains an active carbon agent which both filters the sulfur smell and muffles the sound of a fart. Co-creator Jim Huza says the idea was originally a fictitious project his wife came up with for her marketing class, but, with his background in mechanical engineering, he turned the cushion into a real gasser. Huza claims the cushion can absorb almost all of the odor generated by a fart, and says he and his wife sat down to a beans and weenie dinner to make sure.
