DWARF ACTOR PRACTICING ‘ELF CONTROL’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Although Christmas is a big time for short actors willing to play elves, one 4-foot-tall actor prefers to practice “elf control” when he picks his roles. Danny Woodburn – best known as Kramer’s pal, Mickey, on Seinfeld – says he refuses to simply “jump right into an elf suit” for any acting role. In fact, Woodburn says the only time he will dress like an elf is if the role is actually for a “normal guy who works as an elf to make money.” Woodburn isn’t a big fan of elf roles, but admits he prefers them to playing leprechauns, which he doesn’t like “...because they’re always evil.” Woodburn is featured on the UPN sci-fi series, Special Unit 2, which airs Wednesdays.
