SOIL SCIENTIST: DEAD PEOPLE A FERTILE SOURCE OF FERTILIZER

CHRISTCHURCH, N.Z. (Wireless Flash) – It may sound cold but an 85-year- old soil scientist thinks freeze-dried corpses could be a fertile source of fertilizer. Professor T.W. Walker says the only way to avoid polluting the planet is by recycling everything – including the dead. He says new research suggests that when dead people are freeze-dried and crushed into a powder, the remaining “people powder” makes a first- class fertilizer. That’s not the professor’s only idea for natural fertilizer. Walker also claims cow urine is great for plants and wants someone to invent a watering can-like device that can help cows spray their urine over a wider area while grazing.
