THE ROCK: ‘I’D LIKE TO PLAY DRAMATIC ROLES’
NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – WWF wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson says he wants to try dramatic acting roles. The beefy 29 year old appeared in The Mummy Returns, and tells the upcoming TV Guide he loves the challenge of dramatic acting but thinks he’ll need 10 more years to develop the talent. The Rock admits there’s “a novelty” to his film career that will draw WWF fans, “but the loyalty will only go so far before they say, ‘OK, now perform for me.”
