OFFICE ETIQUETTE: ‘WHAT IF I SEE MY BOSS NAKED?’

CLEVELAND (Wireless Flash) – Here’s an odd office etiquette question: What do you do if you see your boss naked at the gym? “Don’t do a thing” is the advice from etiquette expert Clinton T. Greenleaf III, author of the new book, A Gentleman’s Guide To Etiquette (Adams Media). Greenleaf admits it might be hard to avoid gasping in shock when you see your boss in his or her birthday suit, but he says it’s best not to say a word and just forget the whole incident. Greenleaf says it’s likely your boss is self-conscious and will fear you’ll blab about the rolls of fat and cellulite to everyone at the office. It may be tempting to dish the dirt, but if you zip your lip, Greenleaf says you’ll gain your boss’ trust and it might help you get into the proverbial “old boys club.”
