THANKSGIVING DINNER FILLED WITH FAT

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Lardy, lardy: Thanksgiving dinner sure is filled with fat. According to the diet experts at Nutricise.com, the average American will eat 195.5 grams of fat in their holiday meal today – the equivalent of 48 pats of butter. The biggest culprit is dessert, because a slice of pecan pie a la mode has a whopping 63 grams of fat. That’s the recommended amount of fat for a whole day’s worth of meals – not just one course. Other big fat Thanksgiving vittles include mixed nuts, which pack 40 grams of fat into just a handful, and stuffing, which has 17 grams per serving.
