POPPLES MAKING A COMEBACK?

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Remember those cuddly stuffed creatures from the 1980s known as Popples? Maybe not, but they’re making a comeback anyway thanks to a handful of Hollywood actresses. Nine stars including Melissa Joan Hart, Christina Ricci, and former pop princess Tiffany are giving the toy a revival by designing their own Popples and auctioning them off on eBay. Each celeb was given a blank Popple to work on and Hart’s “Patriotic Popple” is decorated with red, white and blue stars. Ricci’s “Subway Popple” is decorated like a New York subway map, while Tiffany’s Popple is covered in rainbow-colored stars. The auction starts today and all proceeds will go to Starbright Foundation.
