MARATHON RUNNER DOESN’T LET MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS RUN HER DOWN

INDIANAPOLIS (Wireless Flash) – A female marathon runner isn’t letting multiple sclerosis run her down. This weekend, she’s running her second marathon in a month. Susan Creed was diagnosed with MS nine years ago and found herself occasionally stuck in bed. But now, she’s running her third marathon in a year and credits her recovery to a drug called Provigil. When she was first diagnosed, Creed vowed to come back. Although it took time, the 38-year-old housewife is proud she hasn’t let her MS get a leg up on her. However, marathons aren’t easy no matter how healthy you are. Creed says that during her last marathon, she begged some firemen to let her barf in their bathroom just before running across the finish line.
