TERRORISM INSPIRES NOVELTY TESTES

GRASS VALLEY, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – The war on terrorism is making some Americans testy – and now it’s inspired a sculptor in Grass Valley, California, to make some testes of his own. Jeff Tritel believes Americans are tough hombres with “brass balls” so he’s created a line of metal testicles that hitch on to truck trailers. Tritel’s “Bumper Balls” cost $49.95 and look just like the fleshy kind – only his are each about the size of an apple. However, the idea isn’t meant to be vulgar. Tritel says having “brass balls” is an “intrinsically American” attitude. Tritel was inspired when Taliban officials called American soldiers “soft.” The comment drove him nuts and the rest is history. Now Tritel is selling brass balls by the sack and says customers are also grabbing up testicle-shaped earrings, tie tacks and lapel pins.
