AIRPLANES TO GET ‘JET S CAMS’

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (Wireless Flash) – A Georgia-based company has created a new camera surveillance system that will allow pilots to spy on passengers during flights. The so-called “Jet S Cam” made by In-Systcom is a digital video system that allows pilots to have eyes in the back of their heads so they can watch the cabin and even transmit the video feed to ground control. The company originally designed the camera for folks to watch over elderly family members from afar, but a company spokesman says after September 11 they’ve had requests from six airlines to retrofit planes with the cameras at $40,000 a pop.
