ATLANTA (Wireless Flash) – Talk about the old ball and chain: An Atlanta company is manufacturing time-release handcuffs for couples. The so-called “Timecuffs” are standard issue police handcuffs attached to a time-release cylinder that pops out a key in anywhere from two to seven hours. Manufacturer Shea Masters says the safety cuffs were inspired by a night he spent accidentally handcuffed to his spouse and claims they can help couples improve their relationships. There are two models: A “Honeymoon” version which newlyweds are supposed to snap into at their wedding reception and a “Bind Date” model which lasts long enough for a couple to enjoy dinner and a movie.
