DIRTY HANDS: AMERICA’S DIRTY SECRET

WASHINGTON (Wireless Flash) – One in four Americans has a dirty little secret: They don’t always wash their hands after blowing their nose or sneezing when they have the flu. It gets worse: According to a new hand washing survey by the National Consumers League, only 28 percent of folks always scrub their hands after sneezing or blowing their noses. Other dirty little figures... 69 percent of folks think toilet seats are the germiest spot in their houses, but 48 percent think the bathroom sink is dirtier. And 50 percent say washing your hands after using a public phone or ATM is a good way to avoid getting sick.
