XENA: THE DIRECTOR’S CUT

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Xena: Warrior Princess may be over but it’s not forgotten. Case in point: The Oxygen TV channel – which has just acquired exclusive rights to air Xena re-runs – plans to broadcast a special “Director’s Cut” of the show’s finale that includes 16 minutes of unseen footage. A spokeswoman says the extra footage won’t drop any bombshells and mostly consists of additional dialogue and suggestive lingering looks exchanged by Xena and her gal pal Gabrielle. However, the channel has decided to air the extra footage because many Xena fans study the show’s episodes closely and would love to have more material to pick apart now that the show has ended. The Xena director’s cut airs November 3.
