The Eagles singer confesses to the upcoming Rolling Stone that he started driving at the age of 14 and was so small he had to sit on a cushion to see out the windshield of his first car. Henley’s not the only rocker with a funny first car story: Joan Jett failed her first driving test two times because she kept driving over curbs in her Jaguar coupe and Willie Nelson saw his first car – a 1937 Ford – go up in flames after some punks stuck a match in his gas tank.
