THE GREATEST REAL ESTATE MOVIES OF ALL TIME

FREDERICTON, New Brunswick (Wireless Flash) – Here’s a new spin on those movie top ten lists: A real estate scholar and film buff at Penn State University is announcing the “Greatest Real Estate Movies of All Time.” Austin J. Jaffe says many great movies have real estate themes – including American Beauty which shows the importance of real estate in modern suburbia. Jaffe’s other picks include the 1982 flick Quest For Fire, which “...captures the problems of primitive man’s search for shelter” and the 1992 Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman movie Far and Away, which teaches audiences about pioneer homesteading. Finally, he says the film school fave Battleship Potemkin has one of the top “real estate moments” in film – the famous scene of a baby carriage falling down the Odessa steps.
