WITCHES TRADING IN CAULDRONS FOR MICROWAVES

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. (Wireless Flash) – Looks like modern witches are dumping their cauldrons and wands for microwaves, fax machines and computers. It’s all part of a new category of spell-casting known as “technomagick” that’s gaining popularity among many witches, according to witch and author Patricia Telesco. She claims modern appliances like freezers can be used in spell-casting to slow down relationships or “freeze” the negative vibes from a rival co-worker. Placing the ingredients for your spell in a microwave will speed up the time it takes for it to manifest, while fax machines and e-mail can transmit spells over long distances. Telesco also claims many witches find modern light bulbs work well as substitutes for old-fashioned candles. She’s the author of the new book, How to Be A Wicked Witch (Simon & Schuster).
