NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – You may have heard major newspapers reporting about the Brazilian pet store owner who wants to open a brothel for dogs – but an American prankster says it’s not only a hoax, it’s a rip-off. Artist Joey Skaggs believes the Brazilian’s claim of opening a doggie whorehouse is a complete prank – and he should know. Skaggs made the same claim in 1976 and fooled reporters with an elaborate hound brothel. The prankster toured Brazil last year to lecture about media hoaxes and he believes that’s when the Brazilian got the idea for the doggie cathouse. The canine cathouse may be a prank but Skaggs says a real one could make big money. In fact, he claims he’s received hundreds of letters from pet lovers interested in “getting a little tail for their dog.”
