EMERIL NOT ‘HAPPY HAPPY’ OVER COLLEGE DRINKING GAME

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – TV chef Emeril Lagasse isn’t too “happy happy” about a new trend on American college campuses – a drinking game inspired by his show. Many college campuses are reportedly holding “Emeril Drinking Parties” where fans watch his Food Network show and take a belt of booze every time he says one of his catch phrases such as “happy happy,” “kick it up a notch” or “Bam!” Although the game also requires drinkers to guzzle every time Emeril consumes alcohol on the show, he doesn’t think the game is in good taste because, “I don’t like the idea of promoting irresponsible drinking.” Emeril Live airs nightly on The Food Network and his NBC sitcom, Emeril, airs Tuesdays.
