NEW YORKERS EATING MORE TAKE-OUT IN WAKE OF TERRORIST ATTACKS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Many New Yorkers have stopped dining out since last month’s terrorist attacks – but the tragedy is doing wonders for take-out food. Although some restaurants in the Big Apple have reported a drop in walk-in customers since September 11, they’ve also seen an increase in take-out orders. According to Tim and Nina Zagat of the Zagat Restaurant Survey, New Yorkers are relying more and more on take-out to “...sustain them while glued to the TV...” watching the latest developments in the terrorist war. This isn’t the end for dining out, though. The Zagats say restaurants are a vital part of the social scene in New York and they feel New York’s eateries will soon “...come back stronger than ever.”
