PETER BRADY HOPES TO POP ZIT MYTHS

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – The actor who played Peter Brady on The Brady Bunch is hoping to do for pimples what June Allyson did for adult diapers. Christopher Knight is the new spokesman for an anti-zit campaign called “Healthy Skin, Healthy Outlook,” and he wants to pop some of the myths about pimples – including the one that french fries and chocolate trigger acne. Although Knight was never a “pizzaface” as a teen, he says he’s had friends and family who’ve had zits all over the place and it isn’t good for anyone’s self-esteem. In fact, he says the saddest fact about his show biz past is that he probably wouldn’t have been selected as a Brady if he had a faceful of pimples.
