SWEDISH MUSIC SEMINAR PROMOTES COUNTRY’S POP PRESENCE

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – American musicians may be rocked by this news: A Swedish diplomat claims the best music in the world comes out of Stockholm. Swedish Consulate General Olle Wastberg thinks so highly of the musicians in his country that he’s scheduled a “Swedish Pop Music Seminar” in New York next Wednesday (Oct. 17). He says although most folks associate Swedish music with ABBA, Roxette and Ace Of Base, Swedish songwriters like Max Martin have written hits for Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and N- Sync. Although Wastberg doesn’t want to take anything away from U.S. pop music, he says next week’s Swedish Music Seminar will explain exactly why “...the world’s best music is spun in Stockholm, Sweden.”
