STUNTMAN HACKS OUT A LIVING AS JASON

PHILADELPHIA (Wireless Flash) – You might not know actor Kane Hodder by name, but he’s hacked out quite a career playing the murderous “Jason” in the Friday The 13th flicks for the last 13 years. The 46-year-old stuntman is the only actor who has worn the trademark hockey mask in more than one film and he says the difference between him and the other Jasons is “...they were just pretending to be scary.” Hodder says he loves creeping out his fellow actors by growling like a maniac between takes and he’s extra rough when the camera is rolling so the actors really look terrified. During the Halloween season, Hodder scares up cash by doing personal appearances in his hockey mask. After that, he’ll be on the big screen once again early next year when Friday The 13th: Jason X hits theaters in March.
