JOEY FATONE IN FEAR OF ‘SUPERMAN CURSE’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – N-Sync singer Joey Fatone may have gold records but he’s really dreaming about the Man of Steel. Fatone admits he’s a big Superman fan and says his dream is to produce a new movie version starring Nicolas Cage. However, the teen idol admits the dreaded “Superman Curse” – which supposedly affects anyone who wears the red and blue costume – is keeping him from getting the film off the ground. According to legend, the first victim of the curse was 1950s TV Superman George Reeves, who died under mysterious circumstances in 1959. 1980s Superman Christopher Reeve fell victim when he broke his neck while riding a horse. For the record, Lois & Clark’s Superman Dean Cain remains unharmed – so far. But despite that reassuring thought, Fatone admits the curse still worries him and he tries “not to think about it too much.” Fatone’s latest project is On The Line, a romantic comedy co- starring fellow N-Syncster Lance Bass, that opens October 19.
