‘BOB PATTERSON’ MOTIVATES MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER TO CHANGE CHANNEL

PITTSBURGH, Penn. (Wireless Flash) – Jason Alexander’s new TV character, motivational speaker Bob Patterson, is motivating some real-life motivational speakers who want the show canceled. Pittsburgh-based motivational speaker Marjorie Brody wants Bob Patterson taken off the air because she claims it’s “pathetic” and it portrays motivational speakers as “...slimy characters who don’t follow their own advice.” Brody says Patterson’s character is rude, arrogant and lacks self- esteem. It may be meant to be funny but she fears people will think all motivational speakers are like that. Although Brody hopes the show will be canceled quickly, she’s willing to coach Alexander if it motivates him to do a funnier, and more accurate, show. Bob Patterson airs Tuesdays on ABC.
