‘HAPPY HOOKER’ CLOTHING LINE JUST A RUMOR

AMSTERDAM (Wireless Flash) – Stop the presses! “Happy Hooker” Xaviera Hollander is NOT starting a line of plus-size fashions for women. Although a recent report in the New York Post claimed that’s the case, the former madam says the story is merely a rumor and she wonders who started it. Hollander already has several pet projects, including a bed and breakfast in her Amsterdam home, and admits she has some other ideas up her sleeve. For instance, she’ll be heading to New York in November to discuss a new line of perfume – which was also incorrectly identified in the Post item as being named “Hooked.” Hollander insists the fragrance will not be named “Hooked” and states, “For heavens sake! I’m trying to shake off that [Happy Hooker] image after 34 years.”
