NEW JACKYL TUNE BECOMING SOLDIERS’ BATTLE CRY

KENNESAW, Ga. (Wireless Flash) – A new song by the heavy metal band Jackyl is becoming a battle cry for U.S. soldiers. The tune, “Open Invitation,” is a call to kick Osama Bin Laden’s butt in retaliation to the September 11 terrorist attacks. Vocalist Jesse James Dupree says he’s heard from soldiers in all branches of the military who are using the tune as a war cry as they’re shipped off to the Middle East. Some of the lyrics include: I’m pissed off and not a patient man/ I’d drop a bomb on Afghanistan/ and You’ve got an open invitation to kiss our ass. Dupree says the song is a reflection of the band’s feelings and, in his words, “We thought we’d allow Michael Jackson and Elton John to release the compassionate songs and we’d handle the outrage end.” The song is currently only available at the band’s website: rockmerollmejackylmeoff.com
