THREE BARKS FOR THE RED, WHITE AND BLUE

BEDFORD, Mass. (Wireless Flash) – American mutts are letting their true colors show – by wearing their own versions of the stars and stripes. A Massachusetts company has started manufacturing dog bandannas emblazoned with a glow-in-the-dark American flag. The bandannas by Glow Dog Inc. are made with a reflective material that shines in the dark when any lights hit it. The company is also selling matching T-shirts for the mutts’ human “companions.” A spokeswoman says a portion of the proceeds from the patriotic glowing gear will be donated to a fund for the firefighters who were victims of the World Trade Center attacks.
