JOHN GLENN MUSEUM NEEDS OLD UNDERWEAR

NEW CONCORD, Ohio (Wireless Flash) – If you have any 75-year-old underwear lying around, the curators of a John Glenn Museum would love to see it. The New Concord, Ohio, boyhood home of the astronaut-turned-senator is being turned into a museum set to open next year, but a few authentic artifacts are needed to add realism – including old underwear. Museum officials say they’re also eager for old sweaters, pants, wooden model airplanes and a Radio Flyer wagon to use as props in the exhibits. Although the Glenn Museum is mostly interested in stuff made between 1930 and 1940, curators are also looking for a Victorian-era walnut bed and an old crank wall telephone.
