LAXMIPUR, Bangladesh – Prisons have become so crowded in Bangladesh that prisoners are being forced to sleep in shifts. Officials at one jail in Laxmipur say they have 743 inmates stuffed into a space that’s meant for 121 prisoners.

NEW YORK – Pop psychologist Deepak Chopra is branching into music with the help of former Eurythmics founder Dave Stewart. The two have combined efforts for a new CD, Grow Younger, Live Longer, that combines dub and trip-hop music with ancient Persian poetry.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – Farm Aid won’t help just farmers this year. It will also lend a hand to farmer’s markets. The September 29 concert will donate some proceeds to New York farmer’s markets destroyed in the terrorist attack. The concert will be televised on CMT and feature performances by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Neil Young.
