NOT TALKING ABOUT THE TERRORIST ATTACK COULD BE BAD FOR BUSINESS

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) – Employers who aren’t encouraging their employees to talk about the recent terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington D.C. may be hurting their businesses. According to business trend expert John Challenger, people go to work for more than just a paycheck. He says they also go to together. Challenger says the focus of the rest of the work week shouldn’t be office productivity but should be “water cooler days” – where employees can gab about current events without being told to “Get back to work”. In the long run, Challenger says letting employees talk about the tragedy now will help them recover faster and to get back on track.
