WORLD’S FIRST MAXI PAD FOR PLUS-SIZE WOMEN

CINCINNATI (Wireless Flash) – Maxi pads are going to the max thanks to a new product that’s being marketed to larger ladies. The so-called “Always Maximum Protection” is being pitched as the world’s first pad made to fit women size 14 and up. Until now, most sanitary napkins have been designed for pants size 6 and under. A spokeswoman for Procter and Gamble, which is making the jumbo pads, says the product was created in response to customers asking for extra protection and says, “You don’t necessarily have to be a larger-sized woman to appreciate it.” The new pad is just hitting stores.
