AUSTRIAN MAN COUNTING DAYS UNTIL CALENDAR IS REPLACED

GRAZ, Austria (Wireless Flash) – An Austrian man is counting the days until the old Gregorian calendar is given the heave-ho. Self-proclaimed “calendar scientist” Sepp Rothwangl claims the traditional western calendar doesn’t match up with certain astronomical events and, as such, is woefully inaccurate. Rothwangl says, like it or not, humans will have to adapt by creating a new calendar. He says he and other calendar experts will be meeting next year to discuss new ways to mark the passage of time – including his own calendar, which measures time by counting the days left before the age of Aquarius ends. It may sound confusing, but he estimates that will happen on March 20, 2675 – 246,016 days from now.
