NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Freddie Prinze, Jr., wants the world to know he’s clean and drug-free. The actor tells this Sunday’s issue of Parade magazine that he has no plans of following the path of his father, who descended into drugs and later killed himself. Prinze says he hated his father after he discovered at the age of eight that he took his life over drugs. “If only he had known how great a son I could have been, there’s no way he’d have done that!” Prinze, who is engaged to actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, tells fans he’s stayed true to himself for bigger plans someday – becoming a father himself.
