‘FACTS OF LIFE’ REUNION ALMOST FEATURED A REFORMED ‘BLAIR’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Can you imagine snooty “Blair Warner” from the Facts Of Life ever being nice? Well, it almost happened in the script for the upcoming Facts Of Life reunion movie. That’s according to Lisa Whelchel, who plays the witchy rich girl. Lisa says when she first met with one of the writers penning the reunion script, the scribe wanted to turn Blair into a nice woman to show she’d grown out of her snobbish ways. But Lisa insisted Blair be “...as vain and as shallow as she ever was,” because a reformed Blair isn’t a funny Blair. She says she enjoys playing the snobby character because – in her words – “I can’t get away with that in real life.” Production on the reunion special will start next month in Toronto.
