FLOATING MOVIE STUDIO HEADING TO HOLLYWOOD

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – A floating movie studio will be docking off the coast of Los Angeles later today after traveling hundreds of miles from San Francisco. The 8000-square foot, three-story high sound stage was towed by a tug boat during a five-day journey down the California coastline. It was used as a set for the now-canceled Nash Bridges, but will now be rented out to film production crews for music videos, commercials and even parties. Folks at L.A.-based Ray-Art Studios – the new owner of the floating sound stage – won’t say how much they paid, but the estimated value of the unique back lot is $1.5 million.
