SLASH AND MICHAEL JACKSON: TOGETHER AGAIN

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Former Guns And Roses guitarist Slash says he’s going to have “a blast” appearing on stage with Michael Jackson during the Gloved One’s upcoming tribute concert. The top-hatted axe-man will be performing the Jackson tunes “Beat It” and “Black or White,” as well as backing up the other Jackson brothers during their first performance together in 20 years. Although the heavy metal man and the King of Pop may seem like a strange combination, this isn’t the first time the two have teamed up. Slash did guitar for several tracks on Jackson’s 1992 album Dangerous, including the intro for “Black or White.” Speaking about the September tribute concert, Slash says, “I’m honored to be a part of any event honoring [Michael]. He is truly one of the greatest talents known.”
