SEBRING, Fla. (Wireless Flash) – Most folks wouldn’t want to admit they run a cathouse but a Florida man is proud of it. Howard Norris’ “Cathouse” isn’t a house of ill repute: It’s a restaurant in Sebring, Florida, stocked with nearly 5000 feline figurines, cat calendars and pussycat portraits. Norris says the Cathouse has been around for 28 years and gets two kinds of visitors: Cat lovers and folks who want to take their photo next to the restaurant’s sign. The restaurant also sells a postcard of the sign and Norris says many customers write, “Mom, finally got a job” on it before sending it. But while the Cathouse is filled with kitty artifacts, leftovers are still wrapped in doggy bags.
